Medieval Projects

I have been so proud of the boys' hard work during their medieval projects. Here is a quick video of their topics, but I am also going to post some of their presentations-they are too good not to share!

Medieval Times Field Trip

The students enjoyed the field trip to Medieval Times! We learned more about knighthood and they made some terrific connections to the material they have been studying for their medieval projects.

Fair Weather Readers

The rain has finally gone away (for a bit) so we headed outside for some outloud reading in preparation for our "Confession and Confusion" skits. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying this exciting chapter and the beautiful weather!

Pearltree Collaboration

During the biome project, we often collaborate with other classes to share our information. One way we collaborate is by using pearltrees, which allows every Ninth Age class to have access to and share useful websites. The 9-1 boys spent time teaching the 9-A girls how to use pearltrees, and we will be able to learn from the sites they add to our pearltrees.

Egyptian Writing

The students created their own hieroglyphic messages as if they were members of the Egyptian game!

Story Patch Plot Summaries

To review the plot thus far in The Egypt Game the students worked in partners to create storypatch stories on the iPads reviewing the characters and their adventures. The students did a wonderful job and were eager to share their understanding of the novel.
