This week in 9-1 was crazy, we got a new pet a turtle named sei goo (we voted for it). We also started homework, I didn't think 9th age was going to be so hard! We had scince homework, french homework, we even had gym homework!

Cave Tool Project

9-1 is learning all about the lives of cave men, women and children! To learn a little more about how they lived, we created our own cave tools out of rocks, sticks and string. It was a difficult task but the boys did a terrific job!

What a busy first week!

We had an incredible first week in 9-1. From new history books to summer reading discussions, the boys dove into everything head-first and demonstrated that they had been working hard over the summer! Have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!

All School Assembly

The entire school gathered on Thursday to welcome in the new school year. It is was a wonderful opportunity for our entire community to take a moment and examine the year ahead of us all. Dr. Martire always kicks off the year with words of wisdom; this year they were "effort" and "respect". These two themes resonated with the 9-1 boys after spending part of Wednesday brainstroming our goals for the year!
