A Very Generous Group
The 9-1 boys have amazed us all. We had hoped to reach 300 cans today, and exceeded it with 370. WOW!
Dr. Trusty made an annoucement this morning and left us a note this afternoon to let us know how excited he was.
The food was boxed up and transported to Paul's Place this afternoon...the entire lower school has a lot to be proud of!

Day Two of Food Drive
The boys have ALREADY exceeded our class goal of 90 cans.
We are up to 131 today!
We have raised the bar to 210, hoping to feed even more families by Friday. This goal was selected as Dr. Trusty mentioned his former 4th grade class collected 200 cans every year. The 9-1 boys are quite excited for our newest challenge! Thank you to all of the families who have already contributed. Check back for updates as our numbers grow.

Reading Buddies Meet Again!
Our reading buddies read a story about different families in class on Thursday. We then made portraits of all of our families, discussing and showing all of the similarities and differences amongst them.
We connected all of them together as a quilt, hung outside of Ms. Clark's room, showing how all of our unique families look like a beautiful patchwork quilt.
